Exploring behaviour, health & how we live well.

I’m an applied Health Psychologist, behavioural scientist and researcher interested in what helps people change - and how we can create better products services, organisations, and experiences around real human behaviour.

I apply psychology and behavioural science across health, wellbeing, digital products and organisational change, with a particular interest in the gap between knowing what to do and being able to do it in everyday life.

Because whether we're trying to improve health, design a better product or introduce a new way of working, there is almost always a human behaviour at the heart of the challenge.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across the NHS, academia, the third sector, start-ups, scale-ups, technology companies and UK Government, researching behaviour and translating what we learn into practical change.

My particular interests are health behaviour change, digital health and habit formation. More recently, I’ve been applying the same behavioural principles to understanding how people engage with and adopt emerging technologies, including AI.

Areas of interest

People

The psychology behind everyday health and wellbeing in individuals.

I work 1-1 with individuals who, as well as training health and wellness coaches and professionals on how to apply psychology to their work

Products

Good design starts with understanding behaviour as it happens in the real world. Psychology, behavioural science and user research can help us design products and services around real human behaviour.

My approach aims to close the gaps between what a service intends people to do and what they actually do.

Organisations

How systems, cultures and workplaces shape behaviour - from wellbeing and psychological safety to organisational change.

More recently I have been exploring AI adoption and what helps and hinders individuals and organisations to effectively use AI without causing human harm

Experiences

How places and experiences influence how we feel and behave, from wellness spaces, hotels, spas, retreats to social wellness

I’m interested in what they can teach us about connection, restoration and making healthy behaviour feel easier.
